Healthy Skin Care Tips and Advice

It’s no secret that everyone wants healthy skin. Not properly taking of it can lead to various complications like skin cancer, eczema, and psoriasis. But adopting a healthy skin care routine can be really simple, as long as you have the right game plan going in.

A big part of healthy skin care is giving your skin the attention it needs. This means using the right kind of skin care products to keep it healthy and vibrant. Here are some things you should think about when it comes to keeping healthy skin:

*Keep your skin moisturized. If you want healthy skin, you have got to make sure it stays hydrated throughout the day. This means drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day and using skin care products that contain potent natural moisturizers. I find that jojoba oil moisturizes my skin the best, and it also balances out human sebum (or the oils secreted by the skin.)

*Protect it against UV radiation. This is one of the most important parts to healthy skin care. UV radiation is the leading cause of skin damage, so make sure you apply a protective sunscreen or moisture if you know you’ll be under the sun for more than a half hour.

*Replenish oils lost throughout the day. Ever notice how much oil is secreted through your pores each and every day? Well healthy skin stays healthy if you replenish these oils each and every day with natural essential oils from nature. Some of the best essential oils are macadamia oil (the most luxurious oil) and grapeseed oil (creates an invisible barrier to retain moisture.)

*Keep it soft and smooth. Healthy skin is soft and smooth, so nourishing it with emollients like crodamol and shea butter will get them this way.

*Get rid of free radicals. These little buggers travel around your body and destroy skin cells like it’s their job. But potent antioxidants like CoQ10 and in manuka honey

will destroy free radicals deep down in the skin and keep it healthy and vibrant.

*Keep it looking young and age-free. This one is more of a pleasure than a need. Nothing makes you feel healthier than looking in the mirror and seeing youthful and healthy skin, am I right?

Surprisingly, when I got into using anti aging skin care products, I noticed that the higher quality ones contained ingredients that addressed pretty much all of these healthy skin needs.

So instead of buying individual products like moisturizer, oil rejuvenation cream, emollients, antioxidant rich creams, etc., I just have to use a few specific anti aging products.
